Bauble blowing family fun this summer

The Summer holidays are already here! Why not bring the family down to The Original Bristol Blue Glass Studio and Shop on the Bath Road for some bauble blowing fun. We are giving families the chance to blow their very own unique Bristol Blue Glass bauble for just £10.00 instead of the usual £12.50.

Entry is free to watch the glass blowers at work, browse our Studio and Shop and also enjoy our musuem - we have the replica Harry Potter goblet we were very proud to make for the movies, for those fans in the family!

Welcome to Bristol blue glass

Bristol Blue Glass was founded back in 1988 by James Adlington, with the help of glass maker Peter St Clair. The aim was to re-establish glass making into Bristol, a tradition that had been lost for over 60 years. Twenty-five years on we, at Bristol Blue Glass, still endeavour to carry on that tradition in our Studio and Shop on Bath Road.  Due to our reputation and innovation, there are those who seek to make pale imitations of our unique Company.

Although we are most famous for our traditional Bristol Blue Glass, our work also includes our Ruby range and a host of art glass in all the colours of the rainbow.

Our Studio and Shop currently boasts many stunning pieces by Peter St Clair.

Please browse through our products online or, come and visit our Studio and Shop to watch our glassmakers at work and see many absolutely unique pieces at fantastic prices.

Glassblowing courses

Due to the success of the Monty Don miniseries, Real Crafts, aswell as many other television appearances, we have received many requests for glassblowing courses. We have decided to give our customers the chance to try the experience of glass. This will be a limited availability course and is a once in a lifetime experience. Attendees will learn some of the skills required to fashion molten glass into beautiful and useful objects. For more information regarding this Click Here
